Management School Postgraduate Scholarships and Study Awards

A range of generous scholarships and study awards are available to help cover the cost of MSc tuition fees.

Liverpool is among the ten most cost effective student cities in the UK.‌ In this section, you can find details of Management School scholarships for those planning to join us in September 2020. 

Please note, additional funding is provided by the University and may possibly be combined with the Management School scholarships and study awards listed.

  • ULMS Future Leaders Masters Scholarship

    Amount:

    Full fee waiver

    Open to:

    Home/EU/OSI applicants to all Liverpool campus-based MSc programmes.  

    Candidates are considered for this award based on their academic excellence, CV and personal statement.

    Applicants must hold, or be on track to obtain, at least a high 2:1 (65+%) in their undergraduate degree, including marks of 60+% in modules relevant to their MSc programme.  Work experience relevant to the programme (paid, internship, shadowing or voluntary positions) would be advantegous, as would previously studying at a highly ranked university. 

    How to apply:

    Eligible programme applicants will be considered. No separate scholarship application is necessary.

    Deadline:

    Early programme applications are advised as Scholarships will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. 

    These Scholarships are allocated at the discretion of the University of Liverpool and the decision is final.

  • ULMS Academic Award

    Amount:

    £2,000

    Open to:

    Offered to HEU applicants for on-campus MSc Programmes who have the equivalent of a 2:1 or above.  Full time and part time applicants are eligibile. 

    Applicants being part-funded by employers will receive the award.

    How to apply:

    No separate application is needed.  Eligible applicants will receive the award automatically.  

    Combining with other funding:

  • ULMS Study Award

    If you are a Home/EU student with the equivalent of a 1st class degree, you will also be eligible for an ULMS Academic award.

    Amount:

    £3,000

    Open to:

    Offered to HEU applicants for on-campus MSc Programmes who have the equivalent of a 1st class degree.

    Applicants being part-funded by employers will receive the award.

    How to apply:

    No separate application is needed.  Eligible applicants will receive the award automatically.  

    Combining with other funding:

    For eligible applicants to campus-based programmes, this will automatically be combined with the ULMS Academic Award.

    This award can be combined with any centrally-awarded funding that the applicant is eligible for.  Please consult the central Scholarships and financial support pages.

  • ULMS Indian Subcontinent Excellence Scholarship

    Part fee waiver (50%)

    Open to:

    Indian Subcontinent applicants across all Liverpool on-campus MSc Programmes.

    Eligible nationalities are: Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Maldives, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

    Candidates are considered for this award based on their academic excellence and must hold, or be on track to obtain, at least a high 2:1 (65+%) in their undergraduate degree, including marks of 60+% in modules relevant to their MSc programme.  Work experience relevant to the programme (paid, internship, shadowing or voluntary positions) would be advantegous, as would previously studying at a highly ranked university.

  • ULMS West Africa Excellence Scholarships

    Open to:

    Nigerian Applicants across all Liverpool on-campus MSc Programmes.

    Eligible nationalities are: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, The Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Togo and The United Kingdom Overseas Territory of Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha.

    Candidates are considered for this award based on their academic excellence and must hold, or be on track to obtain, at least a high 2:1 (65+%) in their undergraduate degree, including marks of 60+% in modules relevant to their MSc programme.  Work experience relevant to the programme (paid, internship, shadowing or voluntary positions) would be advantegous, as would previously studying at a highly ranked university.

    Southeast Asian applicants across all Liverpool on-campus MSc Programmes.

    Eligible nationalities are: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste and Vietnam.

    Candidates are considered for this award based on their academic excellence and must hold, or be on track to obtain, at least a high 2:1 (65+%) in their undergraduate degree, including marks of 60+% in modules relevant to their MSc programme.  Work experience relevant to the programme (paid, internship, shadowing or voluntary positions) would be advantegous, as would previously studying at a highly ranked university.
