    The Human Anatomy Resource Centre (HARC) is a dedicated facility for the teaching of human anatomy over a range of undergraduate curricula, alongside hosting surgical training events.

    HARC plays a central role in the Anatomy and Human Biology BSc (Hons) course which is ranked in the top 5 UK universities for this subject area in the 2022 Guardian League table.  It is one of only a few degree programmes to offer human dissection to undergraduate students.

    HARC supports the full journey of anatomy students within the Faculty, from those just starting out on undergraduate programmes through to postgraduate and hosting surgical training events for qualified medical practitioners.

    Our research

    In HARC, we believe strongly in research-connected teaching and scholarship. The principal goal is to enrich the student experience by providing opportunities for staff development and student projects at the forefront of the anatomical sciences.

    Body donation

    Many generous and public-spirited people feel that they would like their body to be of use after their death. One of the ways in which a body can be of use is to donate it for medical education at the University of Liverpool.
