Undergraduate class being taught

Undergraduate

HARC supports undergraduate teaching on a range of programmes within the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences.

Over 1100 students are taught during an academic year from a number of degree courses including:

We also teach on a range of degrees from the School of Health Sciences throughout the academic year. Teaching consists of a range of approaches from small practical classes to formal lectures and is constantly adapting to changes in student expectations and is informed by the latest pedagogical research.

Clinical Volunteering

HARC offers the opportunity for practicing clinicians to volunteer in the MBChB practicals. This is an invaluable contribution that is much appreciated by the medical students as it adds clinical relevance to the anatomy we teach here. The requirement is completing 10 two-hour HARC MBChB sessions per annum, upon which you will receive a participation certificate which can be used in your CPD e-portfolio. Please note that you must have an active GMC registration number.

For general enquiries, please contact Amy Manson (amanson@liverpool.ac.uk). If you are interested in volunteering, please attach an up to date CV with your GMC number.
