Personal Statement

I specialise in Modern British History, with particular interests in gender history, prostitution and policy, and local feminist activism. I have published articles in Women's History Review, Social History of Medicine and History and Policy. My book, Save the Womanhood! Vice, urban immorality and social control in Liverpool, c.1900-1976, will be published by Liverpool University Press in April 2018.
