Collaborate on research
As part of the Institute of Infection, Veterinary and Ecological Sciences, research to advance the health and welfare of animals including horses is a key part of our work.
Our research encompasses a range of different veterinary clinical and fundamental science challenges spanning disciplines such as equine health and disease surveillance, metabolic disease including obesity and endocrinology, gastroenterology, orthopaedics, infectious diseases and human-animal interactions.
Opportunities to be involved in our research include:
- Equine Veterinary Surveillance Network (EVSNET). Collaborate with real-time surveillance and research into the health of horses in veterinary practice. Find out more about EVSNET.
- Veterinary and horse owner research focus groups. Learn about current research initiatives and how you can contribute to pioneering studies.
