We provide high-level, 24-hour support to our referring veterinary surgeons and practices by providing expert veterinary care and specialist-level advice across a range of disciplines and different clinical scenarios.

Multidisciplinary expertise and spectrum of care options
Our team consists of multiple specialists and advanced practitioners across internal medicine, surgery, diagnostic imaging, anaesthesia and dentistry. We have the expertise, equipment and facilities to deal with a wide range of emergency and elective clinical cases round the clock, 365 days a year. We offer owners a range of individualised options for care based on their horse's needs and owner wishes
State-of-the-art equipment and diagnostics
We have a full range of standard and advanced diagnostic tools and treatment modalities to provide a range of options based on individual case assessments and owner wishes. Our facilities include an intensive care unit, various surgical suites and anaesthetic recovery boxes with options for rope recoveries, specialised diagnostic equipment and a newly built equine isolation facility
Collaboration and communication
Communication with referring veterinary surgeons and practices is a key priority for the hospital team. We aim to provide timely updates on each patient’s progress and treatment plan, ensuring that referring veterinary surgeons continue to remain involved in the horse's care and ongoing treatment planning.
Referral process
Easy referral submission
We offer a streamlined referral process, making it simple for referring vets to submit case details via our dedicated referring veterinary surgeons portal.

Consultation services
We provide consultation services for cases where veterinary surgeons may need a second opinion, seek a specialist opinion or would like advice about ongoing care of the referred case. Contact the reception team and they will help to put you in contact with the relevant team or individual clinician.
Continuing education and support
Educational opportunities
We are committed to supporting our referring veterinary surgeons by running a range of CPD programmes, workshops, and seminars focused on the latest advancements in equine veterinary care. These are delivered through our Veterinary Post-graduate Unit (VPU) or hospital referring veterinary surgeon events, please see announcements of upcoming dates on our news page.
