Equestrian
Our equestrian facilities provide specialist care for horses ensuring their well-being and recovery. We offer a range of services, from emergency care to rehabilitation, helping horses recover from injuries, surgeries, and other medical conditions.
Grounds
Our purpose-built trot up, full size menage and hard and soft lunging areas give us exceptional facilities for diagnosing and monitoring conditions such as lameness, neurological problems, poor performance and respiratory noise.
Safety is paramount and we have invested in top grade surfaces, including non-slip materials for the trot up area.
State-of-the-art equipment such as overground endoscopy equipment adds to our diagnostic capabilities.
Stabling
We have exceptional stabling facilities which are adapted for specialist needs such as intensive care, isolation and combined care of mare and foals.
All the stables in the intensive care unit are heated and monitored 24 hours a day though surveillance systems including CCTV.
The hospital has strict and robust biosecurity protocols to minimise the potential spread of infection. Stables are cleaned twice a day and are routinely steam cleaned as part of our regular cleaning protocol. We provide individual grooming kits, halters and rugs for each horse.
Specific yard technicians are assigned to each stable block. They are all experienced equine handlers and each technician looks after no more than 6 horses, ensuring individual needs are met. We provide all basic feeds, but ask you to supply any routinely taken specialist feeds or supplements.
Our rural location gives us large turn-out paddocks and we have purpose-built trot up and menage areas.
