The Philip Leverhulme Equine Hospital at Leahurst Campus on the Wirral is one of the busiest equine referral centres in the UK. Our clinic sees over 2,000 equine cases per year, ranging from routine elective referrals to emergency referrals and colic surgery. We are an accredited practice of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
We have a dedicated team of clinical, technical and administrative staff who provide a comprehensive and high-quality equine veterinary referral service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our clinical service is led by a team of highly qualified senior equine clinicians, whose skills are recognised nationally and internationally.
