Leahurst equine practice has been established since 1998 and has proudly been serving our 1600 clients and 4000 registered horses on the Wirral during this time. Our location and small catchment area (Wirral and North Chester) ensure we are never far away, which is especially important in the advent of an emergency.

Our expertise is reflected in our RCVS accreditation and almost 50 years of combined veterinary experience by our four experienced vets. Our close affiliation with the Philip Leverhulme Equine Hospital gives us access to world renowned clinicians and facilities. We are constantly improving our services and we have state-of-the-art mobile diagnostic imaging methods including digital x-ray and video endoscopy, enabling us to provide a high standard of care for your horse on-yard.

We operate an appointment-only service for routine work Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 6pm. Emergency cover is provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
