Experience

I have worked at the University of Liverpool since 2001, working in a variety of administrative roles across a number of Central
Professional Service departments.  This experience has given me a good overview of how best to support colleagues and students on a
day to day basis.

Prior to working at the University I worked in the private sector where I gained an understanding of the importance of excellent customer
service.

I hope that these combined experiences, gained over a number of years, allow me to regularly help the ELC and its students acheive.

Interests and areas of expertise

As Operations Director my responsibilities are to ensure that my team support all ELC staf and students.

I am responsible for the Admin Team, including our Reception, Activate Admissions and IELTS testing, the Social and Welfare Team,
managing the ELC's finances and staffing levels as well as overseeing all the production and analysis of all the ELC's student data.

Favourite thing about Liverpool

I moved to Liverpool from London in 1997.  My favourite thing about being in Liverpool is all the opportunities the City region offers.

There are many art galleries, museums, music venues, cafes and restaurants as well as a fantastic sandy coastline all on your doorstep.
