    Algorithms

    Research interests include design and analysis of algorithms for optimization problems, main focus on designing on-line and approximation algorithms in various application areas, including job scheduling, bin packing, multimedia streaming, load balancing and network routing. Interests also include solving optimization problems in other areas including computational biology and wireless communication algorithms. Recent focus on optimisation on demand response management in smart grid and GPU computing for bioinformatics problems.
