Why women’s networks matter

Catherine Durose is Professor of Public Policy and has been Co-Director of the Heseltine Institute for Public Policy, Practice and Place since 2022. Catherine is an established institutional leader on equality, diversity and inclusion, and is convenor of Women@Liverpool a staff equality network by and for academic women. She acts as a mentor to early career researchers across a range of initiatives. 

Catherine loves running and hiking, her 2023 obsession is the podcast about old books, Backlisted. She lives in Manchester with her young daughter.
