The ECPR'S Kantian Standing Group (KSG), in association with the Liverpool-Oxford-St Andrews Kantian (LOSAK) Research Centre at Liverpool invites accepted applicants to register for its hybrid Winter School, which explores the relevance of Kantian thought in addressing pressing global challenges of our time such as climate change, world poverty, human rights abuses, pandemics, AI, migration and hybrid war among others.
Sessions will be led by: Huaping Lu-Adler (Georgetown University), Sorin Baiasu (University of Liverpool), Uri Eran (Hebrew University of Jerusalem), Robert Hanna (Independent Scholar), Till Hoeppner (University of Göttingen), Jordan Pascoe (Binghampton University), and Angela Taraborrelli (University of Cagliari)
Approximately 15-20 postgraduate students and postdoctoral researchers are invited to participate to 3 days of themed sessions and discussions with the additional option of giving a presentation and receiving feedback from expert scholars leading the sessions. A journal special issue is planned with papers presented by delegates and instructors, to be guest co-edited by Tom Bunyard (Liverpool) and Tom Whyman (Liverpool).
