I lead the design and delivery of the University of Liverpool’s online Master of Public Health, shaping a flexible, globally relevant programme for professionals around the world. My work focuses on creating engaging, practice‑focused learning, redesigning the curriculum, developing specialist pathways, and introducing innovations such as the Dissertation Preparation Pathway, which has improved student outcomes.
I teach across core areas of public health and supervise a wide range of global dissertation projects. I also oversee academic standards as Chair of the Board of Examiners for the online Health & Psychology programmes and the campus MPH, and I’ve helped widen access to public health education through securing Commonwealth Scholarships for students from LMICs.
