About
I hold a PhD from the University of Liverpool, where my research on migration, borders, and postcolonial legacies received the Best Thesis Award in European Studies from the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence. My work combines postcolonial and critical border studies to examine the lived experiences of asylum seekers and refugees within EU and UK policy frameworks.
Since 2019, I have taught extensively at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I convened Gender and Global Politics and contributed to a wide range of Politics and International Relations courses.
Beyond teaching, my research and public engagement activities include collaborations with Tate Liverpool and local NGOs, where I contributed to art-based workshops with asylum seekers and refugees in Merseyside.
