Mark joined the School of Law and Social Justice as a Lecturer in Law in August 2026. He was previously a Lecturer in the School of Law and Criminology at Liverpool Hope University and, more recently, a Research Fellow based in the Administrative Fairness Lab at the University of York. Mark studied Law (LLB and LLM) at Liverpool John Moores University before completing an AHRC-funded PhD at the University of Liverpool. His current research focuses on administrative justice in the welfare state.
