Teaching

I am the module organiser for the University of Liverpool LIFE728 masters module in immunology, and I teach introductory immunology on the LIFE332 module of the undergraduate anatomy course. I teach on the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine DTMH course, and I give sessions on infection in the immunocompromised and immunology to junior doctors in the various specialties, including infectious diseases, medical microbiology, virology and haematology.

I supervise medical student and MSc projects. I can offer various PhD projects in antiviral immunity and vaccinology - please get in touch by email to enquire. These are mostly self funded outside some specific exceptions.

I am the academic career development lead for the NIHR Health Protection Unit in Emerging and Zoonotic Infections.
