About

I started my career path in 1995 when I took an evening job at a local first opinion small animal practice, working there for 7 years I became full time and gained my RVN qualification in 2000. I joined the University Teaching Hospital in the Equine department in January 2001, and qualified as an Equine Nurse a year later. I am passionate about equine welfare and student teaching, I was awarded the Golden Jubilee Award by the Royal College in 2019 for the years of teaching our clinical team and students. Nurses are a pivotal part of the Hospital, we are fortunate to have a fantastic team that I am proud to be part of.
