About

I am an experienced Research Development Manager and Facilitator with specialist knowledge of interdisciplinarity and collaboration and a background in upskilling researchers, increasing external research funding, and funding engagement. I work towards creating space and facilitating interdisciplinary research on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and have participated in research projects focusing on human trafficking and modern slavery in West Africa; collaborating and co-creating with researchers, survivors, charities and policymakers internationally.

I have published works on collaboration and research infrastructure, collective impact and the use of arts and humanities-based research methods in effective collaborations.

My main role is as the Research Funding Facilitator in the Management School, with a current secondment to the Interdisciplinary Centre for Sustainability Research (https://www.liverpool.ac.uk/research/interdisciplinary-centre-for-sustainability-research/) as Centre Manager.

Professional interests include collaboration, co-production, strategy in research culture change, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. I have engaged in research on partnership building in the development sector and how the arts and humanities can provide critical approaches to development funding in order to engage in sustainable and equitable partnerships in the Global South. Contact me directly for any queries linked to the ICSR, or ULMS research funding.
