About
Elisa is an Honorary Senior Research Fellow in Global Public Health within the Department of Public Health, Policy and Systems. She also serves as the Strategy, Policy and Science Advisor to the CLEAN-Air(Africa) Global Health Research Unit, a £7 million research partnership funded by the UK National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR).
With nearly two decades of experience in air quality, clean energy access, and health, Elisa has established a strong track record at the intersection of research, policy, and practice. She previously served as Co-Director of the Energy, Air Pollution and Health Research Group alongside Professor Daniel Pope.
Elisa currently works as a Policy Specialist in Air Quality and Health at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), where she supports the development of evidence-based policies and strategies to address the health impacts of air pollution and advance sustainable development goals.
