About
I am an early medieval and digital historian, currently working on the AHRC-DFG funded project Monastic Economies in the Carolingian Age – Farfa and Fulda. I completed my PhD here at the University of Liverpool, examining advice to kings and queens in Carolingian Europe (c. 751-888). I then took a brief – if frequently delayed – trip across the Pennines to the Digital Creativity and Cultures Hub at the University of Leeds, before returning to Liverpool.
