About
I joined the Liverpool School of Architecture in July 2024. I gained my undergraduate degree (BA in Architecture) and postgraduate degree (MLA in Landscape Architecture) from the University of Edinburgh. My PhD from the University of Nottingham explored the relationship between mindfulness and space, focusing on how the environment can facilitate mindfulness practice.
Currently, I am working as a Research Associate at the University of Liverpool on the Arts4Us project, collaborating with other academics, the Integrated Care Systems, and numerous community organizations. Previously, I worked as a part-time lecturer and course tutor at the University of Nottingham in the Department of Architecture and Built Environment, and served as the Faculty of Engineering Student Ambassador Programme Leader.
I have experience in teaching and supporting urban design studio projects in real-life contexts at the master’s level, including the Peel Waters projects and the Letchworth Garden City regeneration project. Additionally, I have delivered lectures and workshops on research skills. My research interests include urban design, urban regeneration, architecture, landscape architecture, and well-being, with a particular focus on how the design of the built environment can positively influence people's well-being and quality of life.
