Professional Activities
A significant part of my academic activities includes knowledge exchange via the national and international media, organising conferences and events, and contributing to the overall operations of the University via leadership/administrative roles.
This page outlines those contributions, which include appearances on the BBC and wider commentary to other international broadcast and print media. Please contact me via email if you would like to book me for a media appearance or contribution on any area relevant to my expertise in political communication, leadership, and British Politics.
Internally, I currently act as the Chair of the HLC Board of Examiners for a second term, and I am the incoming HLC Assessment Lead for a first. I am also the Dept of Politics Alumni Officer, and I undertake external leadership roles within the Political Studies Association and other professional learned societies.
