Student testimonials

“A specialist hospital with outstanding patient care.”

“Interesting placement with lots of learning opportunities.”

“The heart and chest offers a student experience that no other trust will have delivered in your other four years of medical school. Being a tertiary centre you have the opportunity to see various cardiothoracic medical and surgical cases that would be impossible to see anywhere else in the region. Upon leaving this placement, I feel I have become more confident in ECG interpretation and gained valuable knowledge in the management of cardiac-related cases and what would be required as an FY1.”

“Very enjoyable and informative with plenty of opportunity for learning.”

“Nice hospital, enthusiastic staff, enjoyed the placement.”

“Interesting cases, very good teaching programme.”

“Good exposure to all kinds of cardiology cases.”

“Good teaching, lots of opportunities to see a variety of procedures and clinics.”
