Personal Statement

Having graduated from the University of Liverpool, Dr Clark trained in General Practice & currently works in clinical practice on the Wirral.

His role at the University of Liverpool School of Medicine is NHS Lead for Clinical Assessment, supporting the development & implementation of clinical examinations including OSCEs for all undergraduate years.

His postrgraduate educational roles include:
• GP Training – supervision of FY2 doctors as well as a GP trainees during their placements in the community setting.
• Training Programme Director/Primary Care Medical Educator for postgraduate GP trainees – this includes organising & facilitating the placements & teaching sessions for GP Trainees.
• GP Appraiser role - regular appraisals & for fellow GPs with a variety of different roles & backgrounds.
