Equipment and facilities

The following support equipment and facilities (not exhaustive) are found within the labs of the Mass Spectrometry and Instrumentation research group.

Ion sources

ESI, DAPCI, APPI, Paper Spray (including Verispray commercial source), Paper Arrow, Nano Spray, APCI, EI, CI, LTP, CD, amongst others.

Mass spectrometers

LC-MS, GC-MS, QQQ, Orbitrap, Magnetic sector, QMS, portable MS.

Other instruments and capabilities

Raman, UV-Vis, SERS, Ion Mobility Spectrometry (IMS) systems, LFA development, benchtop gel-documentation imaging system, various microscopes, amongst others.

Fabrication

Fibre laser cutter, CNC, EDM, 3D printers (SLA & FDM), sputterer, amongst others.
