Dr. Cathy McGouran has been lecturing since 2007 and completed her Ph.D. in Marketing at University College Dublin in 2013 where she was the recipient of a prestigious Ad Astra Ph.D. Scholarship and Anthony C. Cunningham Post Doctoral award. She has been at the University of Liverpool since 2018 and previously held the position of Lecturer in Marketing at Swansea University. Cathy's interpretive research program focuses on Sustainability, Marketing Ethics, and Consumer Culture Theory. Cathy's work has been published in international peer-reviewed journals such as European Journal of Marketing and the Journal of Strategic Marketing. She is a reviewer for several journals and conferences and has presented her research at prestigious international conferences. She has taught across many marketing modules, ranging from Marketing Ethics to Retail Marketing.
