If you'd like to practise speaking a language informally and at a time that suits you, we have two different ways to get involved, depending on the type of exchange you'd prefer.

Tandem Conversation Exchange

Our local Tandem Conversation Exchange, matches people for informal face-to-face conversation in two or more languages. Once you’ve signed up, leave the rest to us! We'll let you know when we've found you a language match and then it’s over to you.

EUniTa

We are also a member of EUniTa (European University Tandem), a partnership of insitutions across Europe and Brazil, which matches participants for online conversation exchange across a wide range of languages.

EUniTa is great for year two students hoping to match up for conversation practice ahead of a year abroad, but is a thriving exchange programme for anyone wanting to improve their conversational language skills.
