What is the Language Lounge?

The Language Lounge is the University's social language-learning hub. We are open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (helpdesk open 9.30am-5pm during the semester), offering a wide range of language resources, language advice and support, as well as Tandem Conversation Exchange. It’s also a great place to get on with some private study or groupwork, or simply to come and have a chat while you have your lunch.

We run a variety of language and cultural events each week, including language cafés, film screenings, board games etc., as well as offering free language support via our team of Language Advisers. 

We are on the first floor of 1-7 Abercromby Square, so please come and see us if you have questions and we'll be happy to assist.
