Abstract:

In this talk, we will review some basic facts about blow-up of ODEs and PDEs and then discuss some results about the blow-up of solutions to some stochastic heat and stochastic wave equation. We will show that the presence of noise induces a significant change in the blow-up behaviour of PDEs.
