Green finance and impact investment refer to the allocation of financial resources and investment activities towards projects and initiatives that address climate change mitigation and adaption. This module introduces students to the role of finance and investment in the transition to a sustainable, low-carbon economy. The module explores economic and environmental impacts of climate change and examines financial tools and investment products used in climate change mitigation and adaptation. Students will gain an overview of the key concepts, strategies, and challenges associated with mobilising and deploying financial resources to support sustainability.
