Postgraduate Research Code of Practice

The Postgraduate Research Code of Practice provides the framework for the University’s postgraduate research degrees including the thesis stage of professional doctorates.

The code of practice contains the policies and procedures which relate to research students, to supervisors of research students and to examiners of doctoral awards. It includes policies on admission, supervision, progress of students, thesis submission and examination, academic misconduct, interruptions of study, extenuating circumstances, and academic appeals.
