Investment in networks, sensors and flexible space will allow learning, research and operations to adapt quickly to changing needs while improving the experience for staff, students and visitors

Enhancing civic collaboration

• The University works in partnership with local organisations to share insights and create public value. By building secure data platforms and collaborative tools we will enable regional problem solving, inform policy and attract investment that benefits the city and its communities

• Our research frontiers and facilities provide opportunities to test new technologies that transform sectors from health to culture. We will explore applications such as telemedicine, extended reality, immersive exhibitions and digital twins to improve services and create new forms of public engagement
