Students: AI for your studies
The University has provided a set of resources designed to both help you make the right decisions about using generative AI and also to use it appropriately, effectively and in the most efficient way possible.
These resources will help you identify your strengths when using the technology and where you might need some development, and will ultimately help you get the most out of the technology.
Self-assessment tools/establishing current skills
Use these resources to reflect on your current digital literacies and skills and identify some areas for development.
Jisc Discovery tool
Jisc - Artificial Intelligence question set (login required): a self-assessment tool that asks you reflective questions about your digital capabilities around artificial intelligence and provides you with insights and reports on your skills and where to focus your attention to develop further. The questions are non-judgemental and open-ended, and your responses are private to you.
Watch the video to find out more about the Jisc AI question set.
