There are a range of resources, guides and activities for staff to get started with generative AI. These can help you engage with it appropriately, sustainably and ethically in your teaching and research activities. The tools will also help you support students in navigating and using the technology.

• Generative artificial intelligence in teaching learning and assessment ondemand course (staff only): A self-paced course designed to be available 24/7 and to be a 'just-in-time' support for academic and professional University of Liverpool staff
• Guidance on generative AI and copyright: A short resource from the National Centre for AI on generative AI and copyright. There are additional comments from the University of Liverpool on the general copyright pages.

Embedding generative AI into learning, teaching and assessment

Centre for Innovation in Education (CIE) has a range of resources available:

• CIE Spotlight Guide on generative artificial intelligence technology: A short guide to introduce methods to introduce generative AI into learning, teaching and assessment
• Generative AI assessment ideas repository: A collected repository for AI-enabled assessment ideas created by academics and curated by CIE. Ideas can also be submitted to the collection via the MS Form (staff only)
• There are education use cases listed on the guidance page with some acceptable and some unacceptable examples for GenAI
• CIE case studies: These offer practical examples of integrating GenAI into pedagogy from different disciplines, which can be used as inspiration for new ideas:
