Sustainability Week
Sustainability Week is a week-long programme of events and activities for staff and students to get involved in. From new initiatives to insightful discussions and practical workshops, this annual event is an opportunity to raise awareness of sustainability objectives and initiatives at the University, and for staff and students to come together to explore and promote sustainable practices.
Sustainability Week 2025 took place between 24th - 28th February, as part of the Feel Good February initiative. Working in collaboration with the Guild of Students, the Sustainability team, with the help of staff and students from across the University, delivered educational, wellbeing and creative activities and events, that covered a range of sustainability topics.
Sustainability Week marked the formal launch of our new Sustainability Strategy, with activities centred around its three core pillars: research, education and student experience, and sustainable campus and operations. Events held during the week were varied to also reflect our broader commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
