Happy New Year

Wishing a happy and prosperous New Year to all those celebrating. This year celebrations and events will mark the start of the Year of the Snake.

The Year of the Snake symbolises good fortune, longevity, and prosperity. People around the world will be welcoming the New Year over the next week and we're no different. Liverpool is home to the oldest Chinese community in Europe and the city's Chinatown will be the focal point for celebrations on Sunday 2 February.
