Countdown to Liverpool checklist
If it feels like there’s a lot to do before you start at the University, don’t worry. We don’t expect you to know everything all at once, and we’re here to guide you through the process.
Right now, there are a few practical things that you need to complete ahead of joining us:
- Activate your IT account
- Start your academic registration. You'll receive an email with further instructions when this process is available for you to begin
- Upload a photo ID for your student card before Tuesday 8 September to ensure your ID card is ready to collect before you start your course
- Canvas is our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) at Liverpool, so it's great to get to grips with it before your course begins
- Complete your mandatory Consent and Bystander training modules
- Download the My Liverpool App to check out our full schedule of Welcome events
- Accept your accommodation offer on Liverpool Life. You’ll be contacted directly about this if it applies to you
- International student? Access your eVisa and generate a share code on the GOV.UK website before you travel to the UK.
- Ensure you have arrangements in place to pay your tuition fees. Find out more about paying your tuition fees.
- If you're moving to Liverpool, register with a GP. We’d recommend waiting until just before or when you get here to register with a GP in Liverpool, so that you still have cover before you arrive should you need it.
