The Simulia EURO North Regional User Meeting took place at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel in Manchester from June 3–4, 2025. The event featured a series of industry-leading presentations by SIMULIA users, along with live technology demonstrations. Keynote sessions delivered by prominent companies such as TETRA PAK and MEDTRONIC offered significant inspiration. In total, 22 customer presentations showcased real-world applications across diverse industries.

The meeting covered a broad spectrum of topics, ranging from 6G technology to simulations related to obstetric forceps placement.

Dr Bharat Singh Rawat was invited to deliver a contributed talk during the Electromagnetics Breakout Session, titled “Trapping Antiprotons: Modelling Penning-Malmberg Traps for AEgIS at CERN.” The presentation was well-received and sparked engaging discussions about antimatter research at CERN and the work of the QUASAR Group. As the only talk focusing on the Particle-in-Cell (PIC) solver and low-frequency electromagnetics, it stood out as particularly interesting for the audience. The session also provided an excellent opportunity for networking and for showcasing the group’s contributions to the broader scientific community.

Overall, the event not only highlighted cutting-edge simulation advancements but also reinforced the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in tackling complex engineering and scientific challenges.
