Liverpool Excellence Scholarship for Postgraduates
Our Liverpool Excellence Scholarship for Postgraduates offers a generous tuition fee discount to high-achieving international students.
Award
If you're a new international student, who hasn't studied with us before, you could be eligible for a tuition fee discount of £7,000.
Eligibility criteria
To receive this scholarship, you'll need to:
- Have a First Class or equivalent undergraduate degree. Check the equivalent for your country
- Pay tuition fees for the course yourself at the international rate
- Study on campus in Liverpool
- Accept your offer of a place and pay your tuition fee deposit by the advertised deadlines.
We won't be able to offer you this scholarship if you:
- Studied at University of Liverpool International College or Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU)
- Will be studying online
- Are having your fees paid by a sponsor, such as a government, commercial organisation or employer, on your behalf
- Are joining a PGCert, Professional Doctorate (including DDSc awards), MPhil, MArch, MRes or PhD.
How to apply
No application is necessary. The scholarship will be awarded to all eligible students who meet the criteria.
Once our Admissions team receive and process your undergraduate academic results, any scholarships you'll be awarded will be confirmed in writing.
Additional information
If you've applied for or intend to study part time, any tuition fee discount you're eligible to receive will be applied at a pro-rata rate over the duration of your course. For example, if you intend to study for over two years, you'll receive 50% of the tuition fee discount in each year.
Please note, if you're eligible to receive the Liverpool Excellence Scholarship for Postgraduates, you won’t be eligible for the Liverpool Advancement Scholarship, the Liverpool Achievement Scholarship for India or the Liverpool Attainment Scholarship for India.
This award has no exchangeable cash value. We reserve the right to withdraw the scholarship at any time, including if programme capacities are reached.
