Graduate Loyalty Scholarship - International

Our Graduate Loyalty Scholarship rewards the loyalty of our current undergraduate students and alumni who progress to a postgraduate taught master’s course with us. If you’re an international student who has completed an undergraduate degree at the University of Liverpool, if you have studied as an exchange student at the Liverpool campus or studied a University of Liverpool degree at XJTLU, you could be eligible for a £5,000 tuition fee discount.

Award

£5,000 tuition fee discount.

The discount applies to the total programme fee. All tuition fee discounts are capped at 50% of the relevant fee.

Eligibility criteria

To receive this scholarship, you need to be either:

  • a current final year undergraduate student at the University of Liverpool
  • an alumnus or alumna of the University of Liverpool, returning for further study, having completed your undergraduate degree at the Liverpool campus
  • returning for further study, having previously studied as an undergraduate study Abroad/exchange student on the Liverpool campus
  • a student who has studied a University of Liverpool degree at Xi'an Jiaotong Liverpool University 

You'll also need to:

  • join a full or part-time postgraduate taught master’s course at our Liverpool campus from September 2026
  • meet the conditions of your offer. Please note that those progressing to a master’s programme who have achieved a first-class undergraduate degree may be eligible for the Liverpool Excellence Scholarship for Postgraduates and could receive a £7,000 tuition fee discount. The Graduate Loyalty Scholarship – International and Liverpool Excellence Scholarship can't be combined. You'll be awarded the highest value that you’re eligible for. 

We're unable to offer you this scholarship if you’re:

  • registered as a student with the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine
  • transferring to the University of Liverpool from partner institutions, where an alternative fee payment or scholarship arrangement has been made
  • studying online
  • having your tuition fees paid by a sponsor, such as a government, commercial organisation or employer, on your behalf.

How to apply

No application is necessary. The Graduate Loyalty Scholarship will be awarded to all eligible students who meet the criteria. Once our admissions team receive and process your undergraduate academic results, any scholarships you'll be awarded will be confirmed in writing. 

Additional information

If you're a part-time student, you'll receive the discount pro rata across the duration of your course, at an equivalent ratio to the payment schedule for your tuition fees.

This award has no exchangeable cash value.
