University Information
Waseda University is a private university, consistently ranked as one of Japan's best and most prestigious academic instiutions. It's origins go back to 1882 when it was founded by a samurai scholar. Waseda University now consists of 36 departments and has a student body of over 42,000 undergraduate students.
