Personal Statement

Nicholas joined the University and the Department in 2015, following completion of his DPhil in International Relations at the University of Oxford and two years as a fixed-term lecturer at Brunel University London. His research focuses on the relationship between inequality, conflict and democracy in world politics - exploring how historical struggles over citizenship and economic security have shaped the international system.
