Personal Statement

I work on the Flavour Physics experiment LHCb at CERN.

I am also involved in the High Energy Physics Software Foundation (HSF) in the following:
- I'm a member of the coordination team.
- I created the HSF PyHEP working group ("Python in HEP") and co-convene it.
- I initiated and chair the organisation of a new series of PyHEP workshops. They have been held since 2018.

I am the founder of the Scikit-HEP project, a community-driven and community-oriented project with the aim of providing Particle Physics at large with a Big Data ecosystem for data analysis in Python.
