• EUI – Florence, Italy – Visiting Fellow in the School of Transnational Governance (September 2022 – February 2023).
• Sciences Po – Grenoble, France – I received one of -12 ERASMUS teaching fellowships. In addition to the teaching activities, I presented a public lecture for CNRS Research – Pacte Institute (2015).
• Free University Berlin, Germany – I ran a series of workshops related to the theory and process involved in international Policy Transfer and its role in knowledge updating of US cities environmental policies (23-24 March 2010).
• PACTE - Sciences Po Recherche Grenoble, France - invited to present three workshops on the role of policy transfer-policy learning, what is policy transfer, and the role of transfer in the future of EU governance, (28-29 May 2009).

• (2022 – Current) member of the UKRI Talent Panel College (TPC). The TPC is responsible for decision governing the UKRI Future Leaders Fellowships (FLF), the Innovation Scholars, and future collective talent initiatives.
• (2020 – Current) The International Honour Society of Phi Kappa Phi. I sit on the expert review panel for the Study Aboard Grant Committee. This committee is tasked with reviewing, scoring and awarding grants to the Society’s Study Abroad Grant Scheme.
• (2007 – Current) I act as an Expert Referee for the US National Science Foundation. (I have reviewed 5 projects in total)
• (1998 – Current) I act as Expert Referee for the UK ESRC.
• (2015-17) I acted as Expert Referee for the Austrian National Science Foundation (Social Science Fund) (NSF)
