About

Daniela Pirani is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing, and previously she has also served as an Early Career Researcher representative. Daniela holds a PhD in Marketing from Royal Holloway University of London. Through a qualitative approach to consumer research, her work spans across the areas of gender and sexuality in marketing, food consumption and heritage, and sustainability. She has published in Marketing Theory, European Journal of Marketing, Business History, among others. BA/Leverhulme has funded her work. Her research has been covered in popular media and press, including BBC Women's Hour and Phaidon Press. She is a member of the Editorial Review Board for Business History and Consumption Markets and Culture. She is a member of the Feeding Liverpool Task Force. She founded and chairs the Feminist Reading Group, an international and interdisciplinary study group which invites international scholars in marketing and management to discuss their work.
