Dr Murphy studied medicine at the University of Liverpool, graduating from the graduate-entry course in 2013. He obtained membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2018. He was appointed as MBChB Clinical Teacher at the University in November 2018. His areas include communication skills, as well as a wide variety of clinical topics.
Prior to his medical career, Dr Murphy studied Philosophy and Psychology at the University of Oxford, graduating in 2006.
