Master's
Neuroscience MSc (starting in 2026)
This programme will introduce students to the field of neuroscience through the lens of clinical disorders of the central nervous system. It integrates clinical themes such as epilepsy, neurosurgery and mental health, with foundational neuroscience and cutting edge techniques. Students will have the opportunity to gain hands on experience in diagnostic tools, treatment approaches and advanced research methods including neuro imaging and statistical analysis. With a unique focus on patient experiences, this programme ensures a well-rounded understanding of neurological conditions, preparing graduates for impactful careers in neuroscience.

Scholarship for the Neuroscience MSc (starting in 2026)
Liverpool Clinical Neuroscience Award, supported by The Walton Centre Charity
The Walton Centre Charity has provided funding to support the Liverpool Clinical Neuroscience Award, designed to facilitate engagement with neuroscience. The award will help two medical students to intercalate on the Neuroscience MSc at Liverpool, with an award of £20,000 each for the 2026/27 academic year. The award covers home tuition fees and any remaining funds will be awarded as a maintenance stipend.

Short courses
We run a suite of neurology focussed training courses through our Neurosciences Research Unit, both in Liverpool and in Sub-Saharan Africa.
