Guest Wi-Fi
We have multiple options for visitors to connect to Wi-Fi while on campus.
Here for the day?
If you're here for a short visit, such as an Open Day, our public Wi-Fi Guest service powered by Sky (The Cloud) will help you connect to the internet.
It works in the same way as when you use this service in other public spaces or hotels, simply register your details to get connected.
- Select WiFi Guest from the list of available WiFi networks
- Open your web browser - the Sky WiFi landing page will appear. Click Get Online
- Log in, or register if you're a first time user, to gain internet access.
If you need further help to get connected to the Wifi Guest option, visit Sky's Cloud WiFi FAQs
Visiting for a few days?
GuestUoL provides access to the Internet for visitors who need authorised access for up to seven days. You can get a GuestUoL username and password from the member of staff or department you are visiting.
If you are taking part at a conference at the University, GuestUoL details will be included in your information pack or provided by the conference organiser on your arrival.
If you are a member of staff (also known as the 'sponsor') setting up a GuestUoL account, please note that you are responsible for ensuring that the GuestUoL user is aware of and complies with the University IT Acceptable Use Policy.
Visiting from another academic institution?
If your institution participates in the eduroam scheme, you can login to the secure eduroam Wi-Fi service using your usual username and password.
