Personal Statement

Victoria is a Lecturer in Record-Keeping in the Liverpool University Centre for Archive Studies.

She has worked in a variety of archives, museums, libraries and galleries since 2008. She qualified as an archivist in 2012, taking an MSc in Information Management and Preservation in the Department of Information Studies at the University of Glasgow. She later joined the CREATe centre in the School of Law at Glasgow, as a Research Assistant working on the Copyright & Risk: Scoping the Wellcome Digital Library project. This led to a PhD study examining the ways in which copyright law affects the digitisation of archive collections in the UK, which she completed in 2018.
